GPON OLT

The C-COR G8M GPON OLT is a modular chassis offering power and control plane redundancy for high availability requirements. The C-COR G8F GPON OLT fixed port chassis allows for network deep installation in office buildings, hotels, shopping malls, hospitals and small residential gated communities. Both products support L2/L3 switching and IP multicasting for value added services over internet.

Built-in management modules provide secure networking capabilities, supporting various types of management modes, CLI and SNMP based EMS GUI software to manage the system locally and remotely.

The G8 GPON series platforms are scalable multi-services 1RU high-performance OLT (Optical Line Terminal) with high-density 10G switching functionality. The G8F comes in 8 or 16 PON ports configuration with 4 GE combo ports and 2 x 10G SFP+ port for uplink data transmission.

GPON ONU/T

C-COR’s G8200 GPON ONU/T product range is available in multiple specifications. Starting from a data only model to data and voice and also providing optional data, voice and digital TV delivery in one small form device. Wi-Fi capability is optionally available for all ONT configurations.

The G8200 series devices meet the ITU-T G.984 GPON standard and deliver higher bandwidth and efficiency using large variable length packets. Depending on the model the ONUs consist of two POTS ports, four GE auto-adapting Ethernet ports and one 802.11 n/b/g Wi-Fi port. They also feature high-performance forwarding capabilities to ensure excellent experience with VoIP, internet, and HD video services.

Efficient packaging of user traffic, with frame segmentation allows for higher quality of service (QoS) for delay-sensitive voice and video communications traffic.
